I feel there are many benefits of cycling, you can think of even more!
1. Good health: Quadriceps and hamstrings in the upper leg, and the gastrocnemius and soleus in the calf are the main muscles which work while we cycle.Decreased body fat levels, increased cardiovascular fitness, prevention or management of disease are just come of the advantages of cycling.
2. Cheapest way to travel: No requirement of fuel, no/low maintenance cost and reasonable price makes cycle the cheapest mode of travel.
3. Environment friendly: Cycle doesn’t cause pollution and that is the greatest thing about a cycle, especially when hazardous toxins have damaged/are damaging the ecosystem in a massive way.
4. Safe: Road safety is a big concern especially in a country like India, where countless people die every year in road accidents.Since cycles are slow-paced than the mechanized vehicles chances of accidents and injury are considerably lowered.
